They go to the a safe house via a hospital when she gets supplies ,but of course she realises she must get extra help for Peter to get them out of danger. In the ensuing gun battle he’s shot and the unthinkable happens when tragedy strikes Sara and life will change for ever, not able to help her parents now she realises she must do what is unthinkable to get the injured badly Peter away. A visit to Sara’s parents home turns rather violent when on the orders of Henderson a Swat team attempt to get Peter. When news of a bombing at the FBI office puts Peter on high alert thankfully Peter the bomb was not planted by him but it soon becomes it’s clear someone is trying to frame him. It would seem that the FBI are going back on the deal of leaving Peter alone when it comes to his notice that they are still sniffing around which makes him think that Henderson is probably plotting something as well. All seems to be going well for the newly weds and they adapt to life together Sara goes back to work and Peter stays at home, it’s only a matter of time though before we learn of Sara’s pregnancy which pleases everyone, even her parents are warming to him. If he agrees In exchange for dropping his murderous vendetta against the people responsible for slaughter of his first wife, child and most of the residents in their village, he’ll be given a new identity and be allowed to live in the community near Sara’s parents, as it’s only the elusive Henderson outstanding on the list for now Peter agrees.
At the end of book 3 the unlikely pair had got married his men now working on their own.
